I would like to point out some information concerning membership that goes beyond being able to vote in society elections. Put yourself in touch with the latest information by staying informed of what is going on with safety on a national/international level as well as with your peers working right along side you.

The System Safety Society is at the forefront of our changing and evolving profession. Being an active member puts you in the middle of discussions on the latest developments. It is vital that professionals maintain excellence and we are not exceptions. Here are some benefits to getting involved in the SSS:

Member Grades(Affiliate, Member, Senior Member, Fellow) - All members shall be engaged or interested in the system safety profession or the allied arts, engineering, or sciences. Students shall be full-time or cooperative students in and accredited institution and subject to verification. Membership classification forms shall be sent when this completed application is sent by the applicant.

Annual dues include subscription to the Hazard Prevention Journal. Please specify the type of membership and submit a check or money order in US dollars drawn on a US back as follows:

Note: The Society fiscal year is from July through June. New members are effective upon receipt of the application and payment. Those individuals accepted for new membership in the second(Oct. - Dec.) or the third(Jan. - Mar.) quarters of the membership year will receive a 25% or 50% credit, as appropriate, on the following year's renewal notice.
