Why Advertise?
In Journal of System Safety, we offer many opportunities
for advertising to system safety practitioners worldwide. Ads are available
in standard sizes — full-, half- and quarter-page — as well as in
custom sizes tailored to your specifications. The price list for ads is given
below for both the print issues and the electronic issues.
Advertisers in Journal of System Safety can receive several discounts.
If they run an ad in each of the four hard-copy (print) issues of JSS,
they will receive a 10% discount on each ad. Advertisers who are also Corporate
Members will receive a 15% discount on their ads in the printed JSS.
If they also run an ad in eJSS, they will also receive the same discounts
on those ads (two electronic issues per year).
The dimensions and pricing for the print edition are as follows (in U.S. dollars):
Full-page ad: 7" x 10" (17.8 cm x 25.4 cm) = $800.00
Half-page ad: 3-3/8" x 10" or 7" x 5" (8.6 cm x 25.4 cm
or 17.8 cm x 12.7 cm) = $400.00
Quarter-page ad: 3-3/8" x 5" (8.6 cm x 12.7 cm) = $225.00
Column-inch ad: 2-1/4" x 1" (5.7 cm x 2.5 cm) = $35.00
Volume discounts are available.
We also offer advertising in our electronic version of JSS, known as eJSS,
which is published twice a year. The dimensions and pricing for the eJSS
ads are as follows (in U.S. dollars):
Small Ad: 150 x 75 pixels = $20.00
Medium Ad: 150 x 350 pixels = $110.00
Large Ad: 150 x 600 pixels = $210.00
