The New England Chapter is a group of safety
practitioners from the six New England states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont,
Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We also have several members
who were former residents of New England but are now residing elsewhere.
We hold several meetings and informal gatherings per year, plus tours,
discussion groups, and speakers on topics of interest to the membership.
The System Safety Society is a non-profit organization supporting safety
professionals worldwide. With a wide range of individual and corporate
members, the Society is affiliated with major corporations, educational
institutions and other agencies. The system safety concept focuses on
the application of systems engineering and systems management to the process
of hazard, safety and risk analysis. Our chapter is one from around the
world that participates in the annual International System Safety Conference,
presenting papers and tutorials and hosting the New England Chapter luncheon.
Our Web site is updated often. We invite you to visit to check out upcoming
events as well as the chapter newsletter.
